Max Uebergang was best in Thursday’s 12-hole competition with 30 points. He was followed by Rodney Loy and John Henderson in a 4-way countback.
The putting prize went to Tom Kennedy with 16 putts.
Because of cold blustery weather following rainfall Thursday afternoon golf numbers dropped off for Friday and Sunday.
Dave Schofield was the best in a small filed for Friday’s medley stableford. He finished with 35 points.
It was encouraging to see over 70 players hit off in Saturday’s Sutton Insurance Brokers Monthly Mug in cold windy conditions.
Brooke Sheppard and Steve Kent each finished with nett 67. Brooke took the Monthly Mug in a countback.
Grade winners were A Grade – Steve Kent, 67, B Grade – Bruce Garrett, 69, C Grade – Will Williamson, 68, and D Grade – Peter Bucknell, 76.
Place getters were Jason Shaw, 68, Geoff Bucknell, 69, and then John Stansfield, Jeremy Budda Deen, Adam Paton, Ross Chilcott, Larry Finney and Graham Moore in a countback all with nett 70.
Tom Murphy was back in the winning circle again on Sunday. Even after losing plenty of shots after his last win Tom managed 36 points in the stableford and was best on the day. Howard Finlen finished 2nd with 34 points.
Wok Smith took out Tuesday’s stableford with a score of 39 points. Wok was two ahead of Mitch Myler. Next best were Peter Bucknell, Larry Finney and John Foulcher, all with 34 points.
