Ladies Championships 2021

Liz Hobday became the Inverell ladies Golf Club Champion for her 21st time on Wednesday when she finished with a 3-round gross score of 252. Sandy Cook was runner up with 259.

​

The overall nett was won by Di Shadlow with 214.

​

B Grade winner was Trudi Tonkin. She finished with a gross score of 290.

​

C Grade winner was Helen Tickle with 93 stableford points.

Men's Championships 2021

The Men played the final two rounds of their 72-hole Inverell Golf Club championships over the weekend. The last two rounds were played in near perfect conditions.

​

Phil Fox started the weekend 3 shots in front of 17 times Club Champion, John Coote. The lead changed during Saturday with John finishing 4 in front. Sunday saw both players record 74 off the stick and gave John Coote his 18th Club Championship.

​

John Foulcher led the A Reserve competition all the way going into the final day 9 shots clear of Ian Jeffery. He increased his lead on the final day to take his division by 14 shots. 

​

In B Grade, Ted Edmonds was consistent, with rounds of 84, 82, 82 and 84 and finished 9 shots clear of Steve Kent.

Newcomer, Steve McIntosh, started in a blaze in the first round and held his nerve to take out C Grade 12 shots clear of Will Williamson.

​

Chris Drake was consistent throughout the four rounds and finished 17 shots ahead of second placed Jeremey Tickle in D Grade. 

​

John Coote was the veteran gross winner and Harry Edmonds took out the juniors.

The best nett results for each division were Harry Edmonds, John Foulcher, Ted Edmonds, Steve McIntosh and Jeremy Tickle.
