2021 RSM Saphire Cup

The Inverell Golf Club’s Sapphire Cup sponsored by the RSM was completed yesterday under ideal conditions. 192 players from the New England and North West as well as places such as Gold Coast, Brisbane and Wyong played on each of Saturday and Sunday.

​

Winners of the 4-ball RSM Sapphire Cup were Tyler Fleming (Gunnedah) and Scott Saunders (Tamworth) with 97 points for the two days. Runners up were locals, Jason and Lachlin Coakes, with 95 points.

​

Saturday’s Forsyths Accountants results

Scott Saunders (Tamworth) and Tyler Fleming (Gunnedah) combined to take out the Forsyths Accountants Fourball Stableford with 52 points. Locals, Dave McLennan and Andrew Walsh were runners up with 50 points.

Gross winners were Trevor and Tim Murray from Uralla

Sundays Hotondo Homes results

Hotondo Homes Fourball stableford was won by locals, Jason and Lachlin Coakes, with 50 points. Anthony Hyde and Steve Glover, also locals, were runners up.

Gross winners were Michael Osmond and Shane Wilson

Previously on Friday 51 players took part in the Tait HINO ‘Dash for Cash’. It  was won by Tristan Irwin with 20 points. He was followed by Dave Schofield with 19 points.
