Golf Report for the week ending 23/1/2022.

Tuesday’s men’s vets comp was won by Dave Ryan with 39 points followed by Simon Smith with 36. Ball winners were Barry Young, John Henderson and Rowan Butler. Nearest the pins went to John Tom, Simon Smith and Rob Walters while Barry Young won the putting.

Trudi Tonkin continued her good form to win Wednesday’s ladies stableford with 36 points. Sandy Cook and Brenda Zabaks finished in 2nd and 3rd spots.

The men’s 12- hole comp on Thursday was won by Darryl Campbell with 31 points. Herb Cox and Bill Wade took the next two spots. Herb also won the nearest the pin and Darryl the putting.

Helen Tickle was best in for Friday’s ladies stableford with 31 points.

Jeremy Budda Deen won last week’s Dash for Cash with 18 points.

Harry Moses, playing off a handicap of 27, produced a round much better than his handicap to finish with 47 points and take out Saturday’s men’s stableford. He was 7 points clear of the next best, Anthony Hyde. Matt Sparke, 39 was next followed by Dave Wargent, 37, and then six players with 36 points. Nearest the pins went to Tim Moses, Paul Amos and Anthony Hyde.

Trudi Tonkin, 34 points, and Nicky Cusack, 33, were best in for the ladies stableford.

Twenty-five players hit off in Sunday’s medley stableford. Moree player, Graham Farrell was the winner with 39 points. He was followed by Ben Swan and Kevin Moore with 37 and then Andrew Walsh and Rowan Butler with 35 points.
