Ladies Results

Friday’s stableford failed to start because of lack of numbers. Most players probably thought the course would be too difficult after the rain, but the golf club had missed most of the overnight storm.

Sue Urquhart was the winner of last Saturday’s par comp with a score of -3.

A good number of players managed to get through Sunday’s medley stableford before the rain became too much. Some of these were the men finishing their President’s Cup matches. Peter Schofield returned with an impressive 45 points to finish well ahead of Anthony Hyde, Jack Bennett and Rob Walters, all with 38 points.

The best score in for last week’s 9-hole ’Dash for Cash’ was Ashley Walters. He was safe when he finished with 22 points early in the week.
