Ladies Results

Liz Hobday keeps producing the goods in her comeback trail. Now playing off 11, Liz finished with nett 70 in Wednesday’s stroke event to win the monthly medal and to take the first round of the NSW Medal Competition. She finished 5 shots ahead 2nd placed Sue Urquhart.

Friday’s stableford failed to start because of lack of numbers. Most players probably thought the course would be too difficult after the rain, but the golf club had missed most of the overnight storm.

Sue Urquhart was the winner of last Saturday’s par comp with a score of -3.

Mixed Results

A good number of players managed to get through Sunday’s medley stableford before the rain became too much. Some of these were the men finishing their President’s Cup matches. Peter Schofield returned with an impressive 45 points to finish well ahead of Anthony Hyde, Jack Bennett and Rob Walters, all with 38 points.

The best score in for last week’s 9-hole ’Dash for Cash’ was Ashley Walters. He was safe when he finished with 22 points early in the week.
